This presentation is aimed at new and seasoned firefighter alike. It will focus on structural fires in the Main Street USA setting. Types of construction (legacy & new construction additions), engine & truck positioning, first due considerations, fire attack, search and a multitude of other topics will be discussed. This class will be a great review of a low frequency/high hazard event that can happen in almost every city throughout our state.

Thomas Stevens

Thomas Stevens is a Captain and NREMT-B with the City of Fountain Inn Fire Department, assigned to Tower Ladder 29. Thomas has served with Fountain Inn since 2012 where he has held the ranks of Firefighter, Engineer, and Lieutenant. Thomas also volunteers with the City of Belton Fire Department and has been a part of the team since 2010. The fire service has been a part of Thomas’ entire life, growing up around the fire service with his father. Thomas takes pride in teaching the younger generation of firefighters that come into the firehouse, and making sure they are the best prepared for the job as possible.
