This class will cover from the beginning of the application process all the way to how you get reimbursed for deployments if you sponsor a member or members on SC-TF1. We’ll discuss the benefit of having a member in the US&R system and how it benefits your department. We’ll take you through the application process, the probation phase and the training requirements for our team members. We’ll cover how the department is reimbursed for deployments and answer questions on how is the best way to pay your employee when deployed with SC-TF1. We’ll give an overview of the EMAC process and how it works when we’re requested out of state. At the conclusion of the class, we’ll be able to answer any questions the chief or administrator may have to continue supporting current members and how to move forward with getting some of your employees on the team.
